    Some qualities of a great leader (which somehow Mr. Gani have or just pretending to have)
    1. Accepting your mistakes
    2. Promoting love instead of hatred
    3. Praises the opposition and also criticise them
    4. Have faith in the Democratic system
    5. Respects the public institutions and Not playing victim card
    6. Very good vocabulary and Choice of words

      @user-bv2fp2tw1e A Kashmiri knows when another Kashmiri is spewing half truths. Half truths are worse than lies, and Sajad wove his tapestry masterfully by infusing vulnerability, earnestness, sincerity to lend credibility to pernicious lies. Samdish was clearly charmed by this display. I’m sorry, I was not fooled. I know these mannerisms too well, and I know Sajad too well. :)

    I have always loved and respected Mr. Sajjad Lone. Best thing about him is he is super genuine person and clean .. very positive. From over a decade time and again whenever and wherever I watched his interview I have always saw the positiveness in him rarely I knew those difficult past he had faced before this interview . Yet seeing him so positive and optimistic increased my respect for him more.

    The stories of torture from the son of a political leader who was a prime figure in the mainstream for more than a decade. Imagine what a common Kashmir would have went through during the same time.
    Although this interview passes off in a good vibe but imagine the plight of a common man? With no power! No support! No political connections and he cant even say sahab mai toh London ka padha hu.
    That is why I keep saying, you need to personally be there to listen and understand these million stories to get an idea of why Kashmir is like Kashmir.
    Food for thought.

    I saw Sajad interview with Smitha Prakash, She made him defensive with so many accusation of being separatist. This is on the brighter side very comfortable for him. He does acknowledge his past, yet his intentions to be in mainstream and contribute are clear. After listening to him, made me feel he has been through a lot because of his legacy. Rigging of 87 election was a big fault line in Kashmir's history. He seems to be a good leader with pure intention in the complex dynamics of Kashmir. I hope he flourishes, and stays true to peace for his homeland. I hope mainstream media should stop seeing them from the lens of separatist.
    Every state in India would like to get a special status, and consideration but in a good federal structure this tussle should always be there, some states would get and some would lose. The special status should always be temporary, limited and time bound, and it should not become a reason for separatism.

    • @yayayayya4731
      @yayayayya4731 Месяц назад

      the special status was not the reason for separatism. the special status was a result of it.

    • @SaurabhYadav-bd5jj
      @SaurabhYadav-bd5jj Месяц назад

      Kashmir was peaceful and there was no protest till 87. Special status was there for more than 35+ years without a wave seperatism. So its was not a result of it. Uttrakhand and himachal too have some of the similar privillages.
      Political interest and siachen take over flared the wave of seperatism internally and externally.
      Special status has nothing do with it.
      It became a problem when kashmiri politicians started using special status as tool for apeasement. It good that central goverment abolished it.

      @@SaurabhYadav-bd5jj your first claim has no basis in historical fact. If it was all hunky dory till 87, why did your govt jail abdullah? why did they jail other political leaders. why did they install their own lackeys ??? You should read some books first before making claims.

      @@SaurabhYadav-bd5jj I think you hear and see videos on Kashmir on youtube and form your opinion. Till 1971, separatism was at its peak in kashmir with Sheik Abdullah's Plebiscite Front, he was jailed by Nehru. After India won the 1971 war and Pakistan was divided, Bhutto gave up on Kashmir and thus Sheik Indira accord happened. From 1971 till 1990, separatism was under current till Pakistan recovered and got US money and Afghan Jihadis, it started giving weapons to Kashmiri muslims. Hatred for India was always in Kashmir since 1947. In Uttarakhand, you can buy land exceptions are some hills which are reserved, there too you can buy flats but not lands, same in Himachal, you can buy, you need domicile. In Jammu and Kashmir you couldn't, plus you had a separate flag and constitution. Every Parliament bill which is passed will have a title that said not applicable in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Such a humiliation, you pave the way for separatism, as if it was not our own state. Plus another discrimination with women, if a women from Jammu and Kashmir marries outside, she looses her right to the land, it was later changed but still she couldn't transfer it to even her children. Pathetic situation and over top you have anti hindu feelings as well, Killings of my community people, leaving all our homes, temples amid Pro Pakistan slogans. It sounds cool, good when he says Pakistan was a sidechick, India winning a match meant stones throne at our homes, 15th August if we had a bulb turned on, we will be attacked for celebrating Independance day. Now the situation will improve for good and you will be the results in coming 10 years

    Great re-watch. I did not know that my sense of the non-serious soundtrack would be noticed by others. However, I assumed watching the previous video with the same video elements, that Samdish had inserted the Sounds to keep serious topics a bit more acceptable to the segment of people in our country who are still in the mode of 'Angrezo desh chorho' who did not understand shit then and they do not understand shit even now after so many generations. Anyways, this version was like the 'acoustic' version of Nirvana's 'The Man who sold the world' or any other acoustic version of any song. Loved the Vibe, Mr Lone is a rare breed of individuals who can laugh at themselves and talk about the most serious issues in the same breath. Much respect.

He should consider contesting from the Ganderbal constituency as well. The younger generation understands the value of a positive mindset. I would be happy to vote for him any day if he runs from my constituency. Additionally, he should give more interviews like this so that the people of Kashmir can get to know him better.
